Really nice and simple logo design by Abstrakt. Reminds me of V&A's logo and the simplicity in that.

NICOLE MEYER - 10,000 LAKES
I saw this a few months ago, added it to my (virtually redundant) cargocollective feed and forgot about it. Saw it pop up on ffffound and instantly thought, "Christ, it's got big," Nicole Meyer has been redesigning and creating signs for lakes all around America simply stating "Lake logos have a tendency to be, well, fairly ugly."
They're all amazing and she's been doing one a day for... well, quite a while now.

REPRESENT - THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Every day of February, Represent asked a differnt creative/design agency what they look for in an interviewee. Simple things like describing them in three words or even what you shouldn't do in an interview. This sort of thing needs to printed out as a flyer and put at the front of "The Design Graduate Handbook" not that it exists.
The site itse'f has a really nice basic design using of all things Arial Bold (i'm gritting my teeth as a fan of Helvetica but it does actually work bloody well) and the title font Aperçu. Nice bright colours that stick out.
Don't know how long the site will be up for but definitely check it out.
